Motivation 101Exercise is a vital part of your diabetes management plan. But for many people, it is the hardest part. How do you find the motivation to kick-start your exercise program—and then stick with it? Here are some time-tested strategies!

Get thyself to the gym
If you belong to a health club, one strategy that almost always works is simply to pack your bag and go to the gym. You may not feel like working out, but once you walk in, what are you going to do? Turn around and walk back out again?

Of course not! You'd be embarrassed. You'll get on a treadmill, or lift a few weights, just to keep up...
